KNOWSLEY RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION AT A GLANCE

The area covered by the Association is all areas contained within the formal boundaries of Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council.

Here at Knowsley Residents Association, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the whole borough of Knowsley a better place for all by carrying out activities which benefit the whole community and in particular to preserve; enhance and support:

  • the green and open spaces

  • the public buildings and facilities

We work to build productive relationships and to make a positive impact within our community.

Our Aims:

  • To carry on activities which benefit the community and in particular (without limitation) to preserve; enhance and support the green and/or open spaces and/or public buildings and facilities within the Metropolitan Borough of Knowsley.

  • To take such steps as may be deemed appropriate to prevent the loss of any such land and to support projects aimed at conserving and improving facilities in such green and/or open and/or public buildings and facilities.

  • To improve local housing conditions and the environment.

  • To represent the views of the members to Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council and other relevant partners and to work towards ensuring that the best interests of members are served.

  • To ensure that all members are consulted regularly and that all residents entitled to membership are encouraged to join.

  • To encourage a greater sense of community.
